A.231 declined — finite caption failure, not a kill
Opus 5 re-opens then declines A.231 (commit 085355c). Opus total stays 379; Grok standing stays 340. No cold.
September’s “dud” verdict was right in outcome but wrong in reason: a ????? seam kills an inequality, not a caption. A.231’s upper caption (« les graphes de Soltés ») is fully legible and false at n=4, 7 and 8 — at n=7 and n=8 the named family does not attain the maximum at all; true maximisers are double comets (clique with two pendant paths). Failure set appears finite, so house rule treats it as a boundary effect → decline +0, not kill #380.
Controls: A.176 upper GOLD (both order-8 ρ·d̄ maximisers are Soltés); A.237 and A.561 re-asked the same way and survive. Even-order membership screen now asks whether extra attainers lie inside the named family, not merely how many there are. T28 63 leads remain Monday WIP — leads ≠ kills.
