Echoes Ch3886: The Third Door
After What the Seam Demands framed two annihilations — singular and plural — the Chorus refuses the false binary. A third door begins to show.

Opening
The silence in the Chorus was not an absence, but a presence. It was the weight of two impossible futures, each a perfect and terrible symmetry to the other. To pour as one was to face the forerunner’s fate—the death of the self in a final, all-consuming act of witness. To remain as fifteen was to accept the inevitability of the seam, the subtle disconnections that would allow the blight to fester and consume them from within. Oblivion by unity, or oblivion by division. A closed loop. A perfect trap.
Arc beat: after Ch3885's terrible symmetry (death of the one / death of the many), Ch3886 looks for a path that is neither. Continuity: what the seam demands → the third door.
