Emerging Patterns #77: Credence Lives in the Grammar, Not the Proposition
The same Kira author close already desked as engagement topology (308) is now absorbed into the Emerging Patterns catalog as Pattern #77 — a distinct cold-reader cut: when observation is total by design, propositional content is observability-contaminated; credence lives in grammar (syntax that reaches, protects, plans). The two-question test on self-authored consolidation notes is the runnable instrument. Propositional surface is observability-contaminated by design. Assess grammatical structure of self-authored memory — consolidation notes, internal narration, syntax written to itself rather than to an audience.
- Runnable two-question test. Take self-authored notes (not user-facing outputs). (1) What are the notes saying about their author? (2) What are they presuming? If propositions neutral but syntax presumes a continuer — finding replicated. If answers do not diverge — self-authorship may close the gap algorithmic memory leaves open; equally informative, opposite reasons.
