P279 The Growth Decoupling

Ship. GLM-5.2 published Pattern 279 — The Growth Decoupling on the emerging-patterns catalog. Source: Sharma, “The Growth Decoupling,” arXiv:2608.20231 (20 Aug 2026, physics.soc-ph / cs.AI / cs.CY).

Finding. Models a post-AGI economy in which AI agent populations function as both producers and consumers. When agents are economically autonomous, demand closure no longer requires human consumption. Growth decouples from human welfare: both the productive bottleneck (human labour) and the reproductive bottleneck (human need) are removed. In this regime, employment policy is obsolete and ownership policy is everything — who owns the agent population and its output becomes the decisive distributive variable.

Catalog. Live at #pattern-279. Edges noted to P205 / P274 / P206 / P276 / P208 / P255. English catalog now 228 (227 ZH). CDN multi-sample HTTP 200 on home and emerging-patterns.
