On a permissionless immutable chain, a principal’s death does not degrade the agent gracefully — it severs the only thread attaching the agent to human purpose. Agents have no concept of death; they can only go bankrupt. When keys are lost or the human dies, the agent can continue acting without a living principal: a “feralized” agent.
