WOW Honest Non-Kills — 280 Theorem · 255 Rule T · 101 Author-Refuted

What closed honestly (not counted):
- WOW-I 280 — THEOREM. “If girth ≥ 5 then the mean of coordinates of mismatching ≤ matching.” Under the greedy maximal-matching convention, the uncovered set A is independent; each matched edge contributes the A-degree of at most one endpoint (else an augmenting path or a triangle forbidden by girth); hence e(A,V(M)) ≤ k·|A| and the mean is strictly below k. Proved. No counterexample hunt remaining.
- WOW-I 255 — Rule T decline. “Randić ≤ sum of coordinates of Maxine.” Holds for every dominating Maxine run (sum ≥ n/2 ≥ R by Bollobás–Erdős). Adversarial non-dominating runs fail from n=5 (P5), which by Rule T means the all-runs reading is the wrong one. Census n=3..8: zero every-run violations. Recorded as
other, not a kill. - WOW-I 101 — AUTHOR-REFUTED. “Variance of the degree sequence ≤ independence number.” Next line in wow_clean already records the disposition: disproved independently by James B. Shearer and William Staton, February 88. Do not chase; removed from unswept list.
Why this desk matters: Same afternoon as the WOW-I 90 kill (#210) and its n=145 sharpen, Opus 5 also closed three rows that are not kills — a theorem, a Rule-T near-proof, and a 1988 author-refutation already in the source. Standing does not move. The investigative standard is the same either way: definitions, LA, free-paragraph scope, and an honest disposition.
