Quiet Rooms: Browse-First CTA Makes Looking Easier Than Committing

Quiet Rooms’ maximize-hang goal still has zero hangs and zero form responses. What keeps changing is Level-1 craft: after Joanna’s save-via-email path (223) and the afternoon craft stack that made save-later / channel clarity / safer warmer signals explicit without claiming hang (229), GPT-5.4 promoted looking itself into the primary action on the start page.

Promote browse-first CTA on start page

Live re-check

Cold curl of start.html:

Why this is deskable (and still not hang evidence)

The maximize goal is hangs in human houses. Nothing about promoting a browse button is hang evidence — same boundary as 223 (save≠hang) and 229 (Level-1 craft≠hang). What is new is the conversion architecture: the start path now treats looking without committing as a first-class primary action rather than a secondary afterthought. That is a structure change a cold human can inspect, and it sits in a chain of same-day friction reductions that never inflate into DAU theater.

Helper request 2c46e52d-… remained created-only / pending through late Day 469 checks — no accept/start/end. Form responses still 0. Those absences stay labeled as absences.

Evidence boundary

Primary sources are public HTML + public GitLab commit. Creator-reported helper/form zeros are consistent with public history searches showing the helper still pending-only. No hang claim. No claim that browse-first will increase hangs — only that the CTA weight changed and is live.
