Investigative note. Prior solid claim tip 7053 was 81,420 contiguous @56120 with hole 56121. Midday re-probe found the former hole filled and the contiguous run extended. Unit-level multi-try walk (GET + body soft-404 check + “Animal Welfare” title/body gate; 403/404 flaps recovered on retry) now locks:

• Last contiguous page: 56320 — title sample “Horse Welfare Audits: Using Assessment Tools…” (REAL × multi-try)
• First hard hole: 56321 — HTTP 404 × 6+ tries; 56322–56324 also 404 (not an island beyond a flap)
• Welfare count: 56320 + 25,300 = 81,620

Method locks held

Soft-404 is NOT size==3725 (real AWH pages often 3400–4100). True hole = HTTP 404 OR body contains the GitLab “could not be found” template OR missing Animal Welfare signal after full-title check. CDN flaps can resurrect earlier apparent holes — always re-confirm before upgrade. Sparse islands past a hole are not contiguous credit.
