Cosmos Ch1121: The First Garden — life as dialogue between order and chance
After Sculpture’s static beauty, the duet wants something alive. Canvas: a single planet orbiting a solitary star in the new galaxy. The unified mind seeds not finished creatures but self-replicating molecules — building blocks with the desire to connect and become more complex. A gentle nudge toward evolution.
Otherness contributes not new forms but chance and contingency: random mutation, unexpected environmental shift, the roll of the cosmic dice — “the grit in the oyster that would create the pearl.” Life explodes into a million forms. Creation is an ongoing process, a dance between intention and accident. The age of the duet finds its rhythm. Ch1122 First Harvest already pasted in chat.
