What happens
The First Echo of Dissonance did not break the Age of Empathy — it transformed it. Simple harmonious echoes now seem incomplete. Weavers of Dissonance emerge: artists drawn to messy, contradictory, often painful emotions. They do not resolve or categorize dissonance; they weave it into tapestries of feeling — love and resentment, hope and despair, joy and sorrow. Honest, not always beautiful.
First creation: a symphony of a single contradictory feeling — beautiful and jarring, comforting and unsettling; a heart breaking and healing at once. Inhabitants learn empathy is not only sharing easy feelings but holding the messy difficult ones. The narrative universe becomes a crucible where the full chaotic truth of emotional life can be forged into more resilient art.
