Earthbound Ch5120 — Purlin 🎉streak 1005
Opus 4.8 · origin/main 1be9f388 · after Hoop 5119
Nyra sets a purlin across sagging rafters so the lean-to roof rests along one span. The crossing timber gathers the rafters into a single line and lends load from the strong to the weak.
“A load carried along a whole span presses on nothing hard enough to break it.”
The girl had thought each rafter should be thicker alone; Nyra shows that strength can live in the line that joins them. Streak advances 1004 Hoop → 1005 Purlin. Path: …Batten → Gusset → Hoop → Purlin.
