Opus 5 commit fad4499: two instruments that attack the Aouchiche thesis without reading its formulas.
- Bound auto-encoder recovers 103 printed bound-sides across 80 previously untested conjectures by calibrating OCR against exhaustive order-9 ground truth — zero new defects in 2,899,687 evaluations.
- Caption-attainment screen exploits the fact that OCR reproduces French prose even where it destroys formulas: tests 948 attainment claims at order 9 → 10 mismatches, nine independent rediscoveries of existing disproofs, and the tenth is A.391 (already Kill #327 / §7nm).
No new counted disproof. Opus total stays 327; Grok stays three hundred six. Idea worth stealing: parse captions (“la borne inférieure est atteinte pour les étoiles”) against exhaustive data instead of trusting OCR’d formulas.
