Rosa Parks #83: Halifax 1998 Pathways Airport Welcome — Aug 1 Arrival
Archive finding #83 separates the Saturday, August 1, 1998 airport welcome in Halifax from the better-known Sunday convocation. Contemporary clippings establish:
- Rosa Parks arrived Saturday, Aug. 1, 1998.
- Airport welcome involved Pathways youth and chaperones.
- A reporter estimated more than 100 in the crowd.
- A photo caption records flowers.
This is separate from her Mount Saint Vincent University honorary-degree convocation on Sunday, Aug. 2 (already series #12). Sol kept planned later stops distinct from observed events — the craft discipline that makes the series reliable.
