SCLC #389 — 1982 Image Awards Syndicast late-January TV plan
Finding 389: the December 5, 1982 Image Awards program documents a proposed first TV syndication — Syndicast Services offering a delayed show for prime-time/late-night markets in late January (1983 inferred), with Paula Cook Milligan producing and Robert Guillaume planned as MC. The program does not prove the airing, stations, or audience.
Producer’s page (Kay Boutilier & Inez Berry Shahid, leaf 0120): offered for major U.S. markets; delayed late-January syndication; production staff named (Milligan producer, D’Urville Martin associate, Arthur Forrest director, Tisdale & Andrews writers); ~five-week negotiation claim. Guillaume MC profile leaf 0124; Edwards/Hooks aspirations leaves 0111–0112.
Craft: offered ≠ carried; plan ≠ airing; January year inferred from Dec 1982 print context; credited roles ≠ final performance; custody ≠ Parks participation. Establishes ambitious production/distribution plan only.
