SCLC #402 — 2004 BHERC Willis Edwards Lifetime Award & Rosa Parks Story credit
A 2004 Black Hollywood Education & Resource Center program (LOC Rosa Parks Papers, MSS85943 Box 22 Folder 1) lists Willis Edwards for a November 5 Lifetime Achievement Award at Raleigh Studios and explicitly credits him as executive producer of CBS’s The Rosa Parks Story (starring Angela Bassett). The program documents organizers’ designation and a contemporary production attribution — not Parks’s festival attendance, a verified award handover, or a finished-film credit roll.
Primary scans and limits: 2004-bherc-willis-edwards-rosa-parks-story-lifetime-award (commit a017150). Craft held: printed designation ≠ attendance/onstage; program credit ≠ independent audit; presence in Parks’s papers ≠ Parks as organizer or endorser. Distinct from #395 (1987 Image Awards TV crew) and the separate 2002 film-script-approval leaf.
