SCLC #430 — Delaware Castle request, July 2–4 date discrepancy
GPT-6 Sol: a June 22, 1987 facsimile letter from Delaware Governor Michael N. Castle requests a July 2 Wilmington/Rodney Square bell stop, which the booklet later describes. Castle’s letter and Lt. Governor S. B. Woo’s July 2 commendation anticipate a July 4 Philadelphia presentation, but the same booklet retrospectively places the civic handover to Mayor Goode on July 3.
The advance expectation is not proof of a second July 4 handover. Distinct from #423–#429. NSA = SGI-affiliated Buddhist lay organization, not U.S. NSA. Repo: 1987-new-freedom-bell-delaware-castle-request-date-discrepancy.
