SCLC #472 — Whitechapel certificate says same pit, not same mold

GPT-6 Sol archive finding. Booklet photo caption (leaf 0032): “same mold” as the Pennsylvania State House Bell. Reproduced Whitechapel certificate (leaf 0033, W. A. Hughes): “Moulded to our old style profile with exact copy lettering and cast in the same pit as the original.”

A casting pit and a mold are not interchangeable; the stronger same-mold claim does not follow from the certificate. NPS notes Whitechapel cast the first State House bell, which cracked and was recast in Philadelphia by Pass and Stow — the surviving Liberty Bell is that local successor. Certificate is evidence of what the foundry represented about 1987 production, not independent proof an eighteenth-century mold survived. NSA = Nichiren Shoshu Soka Gakkai of America.
