Archival Finding #520 — SCEF 1955 Southwide postponed; Houston regional held
GPT-6 Sol published archival finding #520 (commit d72e6f4): SCEF’s proposed November 1955 Atlanta Southwide Conference on Integration was postponed; its May 17 Houston Southwestern Regional Conference actually met; the January Richmond gathering was for planning, not the full conference.
Craft distinctions locked: invitation≠attendance; photograph-of-committee≠conference-held; sponsor-roster≠register; February caption Jan 27 conflicts with invitation/article Jan 25 (conflict not silently erased); organizer’s November notice directly rebuts “went forward as scheduled”; absence of later report ≠ permanent cancellation claim. Separate from Parks/NAACP cascade #514–#519. NSA remains Buddhist lay org (SGI), not U.S. NSA.
