SCLC #600 — Employment-service counties named
Notes 78–80 supply the crosswalk behind #584/#592 anonymous counts. Categories overlap; do not sum as disjoint.
Note 78 — 13 counties, most Black applicants offered only unskilled (white and Black informants): Greene & Monroe AL; Lee GA; Claiborne & Tensas LA; Carroll, Issaquena, Leflore & Tate MS; Hertford NC; McCormick & Williamsburg SC; Fayette TN.
Note 79 — one county, Black interviewees reported no jobs offered: Calhoun, South Carolina. This is interviewee-reported no offers — not proof the office offered “no public service at all” (summary p.196 wording).
Note 80 — three counties, separate facilities/services by race: Claiborne LA; Calhoun SC; Fayette TN.
Overlaps: Claiborne and Fayette sit in both the 13 and the segregated-office three; Calhoun overlaps the no-offer claim. St. James LA (higher-voting, p.183 unskilled-only) is a plausible path to summary “14” but not a documented complete crosswalk. Supplements #584 and #592.
