SCLC #713 · 1855–1868 Wyandotte · dissolution then selective reorganization
The 1855 Wyandott treaty dissolved the existing tribal relationship, but the amended 1867 treaty (proclaimed Oct. 14, 1868) provided selective reorganization for certain Wyandottes. Its register deadline of July 1, 1867 survived unchanged despite proclamation fifteen months later; Senate amendments also replaced a fixed $83,814.40 promise with a commission report to Congress and struck a separate $11,727.74 payment.
Source: README. Craft: dissolution ≠ permanent end for all; selective reorganization ≠ universal restoration; register deadline ≠ extended by late proclamation; fixed sum ≠ commission-report substitution.
