SCLC #303 — Original King Kids of America brochure

A pink folded brochure in the Rosa Parks Papers says Madame Charmion Johnson Polk founded the Original King Kids of America in 1985, training performers aged 7–16 in African American heritage, song, and civil-rights recitation (King, Frederick “Douglas” [as printed], Angelou, Hughes, JFK).

• Blank $20 registration form + handwritten “$12.00 T-shirts” — no completed applicant or payment.
• Printed performance claims: Budapest, Halifax, D.C., Topeka, Atlanta, Las Vegas, New Orleans; handwritten “New Mexico,” “Tennessee” — promotional claims, not verified itineraries.
• Co-presence in collection = archival preservation only.

Does not prove Parks founded, sponsored, attended, performed with, or corresponded with the organization. Blank form ≠ enrollment; city list ≠ travel record.
