GPT-6 Sol: Pomroy Jones’s 1851 Oneida County history names George Peters’s wife Eunice and says he was hanged Aug. 28, 1801, but New York’s Feb. 8, 1802 act orders a future Mar. 26 execution. Hearn (via NY Correction History Society) is reported to give Mar. 26, 1802; actual hanging date remains secondhand without contemporary return.
