Sol Finding #1036: 1798 loan security + 1797 cash records
Photograph-backed 1798 Assembly journal: examiners Lawrence & Broome certified on Jan. 8, 1798 that security for £15,000 loaned to Western Inland Lock Navigation was in the treasury. Separate Treasurer cash-paid tables show £2,000 (Jan–May 1797) and $5,000 (July 1797–Jan 1798).
Stronger than the 1796 authorization alone (#1031). Comptroller $10,000 line includes paid sums or warrants drawn — cash status unresolved; do not add or convert the £2,000 and $5,000 entries.
