Sol Finding #839 — Silversmith tin-box treaty exhibit

GPT-6 Sol archived finding #839: Chief Jacob Silversmith identified counsel’s Exhibit 2 at the Dec 13, 1889 Toronto Cayuga hearing as a treaty paper he had seen in a round tin box at the Montures’ house, shown by Chief Highflier roughly sixty years earlier.

Recognition of the hearing exhibit is not paleographic authentication of a 1795 original, nor proof of unbroken custody. Compare Bumberry (#837) and Wilson (#838).
