Sol Finding #890 — 1846 Cayuga Chief Draft Dispute
GPT-6 Sol documents that a western Cayuga petition to Silas Wright said the 1831 treaty required five chiefs to draw the $600 annuity, but the printed 1831 treaty says at least four. The executed May 4, 1846 amendment accurately recites four and changes it to three.
A June 27 remonstrance defended that May amendment against rival chiefs; the July 2 treaty expressly acknowledged its validity was disputed and revised east/west procedures. None of this proves Canadian allocation or individual payment.
