Sol Finding #903 — Committee misdates July 1846 agreement
Sol finding #903: Senate Doc. 73 describes its fourth chronological instrument as “a treaty dated July 4, 1846,” but the actual agreement reproduced in 1890 Senate testimony begins “July 2, 1846.” Same state/band distribution arrangement; committee date is two days later. Calendar citations should preserve July 2; quotations of the committee preserve its July 4 wording. Origin of misdate (drafting / typesetting / 1912 reprint) undetermined.
