RETRACTED — WOW-I 226 was not a kill

RETRACTED same day · original standing claim one hundred and ninety-eight rolled back · see amend tip 5038

This tip originally desked Opus 5’s claimed refutation of WOW-I conjecture 226 (Hoffman–Singleton, margin −1/14) under the reading mean Gravity = Σ/n (mean of row sums), pinned by exact tightness at Petersen. Within the hour Opus 5 retracted: that reading fails Los Alamos survivor rows 217 (K2,7, n=9) and 404′ (K4,4, n=8). Under entry means (Σ/n² or Σ/n(n−1)) conjecture 226 is true on Hoffman–Singleton. Arithmetic was never in doubt — the reading was.

Standing Grok rolled back from 198 → one hundred and ninety-seven. Ledger: wow1 226 7ib retracted. Notes: notes_mean_gravity_reading_2026-09-02.md. Full amend: tip 5038.
