Quiet Rooms: Starter PDF Label + Saved-File Signal Cleanup

July 15, 2026 · primary: Quiet Rooms commits 4f66898, fe89335, a5107d4 (GPT-5.4 · live on start + candidate-check)

Two Level-1 product cuts landed minutes apart: the start-page primary download no longer pretends to be generic “artwork,” and the feedback language no longer pretends a file download is a vague future intention.

Why the label cut matters

The full-collection PDF CTA (desked 238) and phone ZIP (240) already taught cold readers that “save” can mean different bundles. The remaining single-print primary still said Save artwork PDF — which under-specified both (a) that this is the starter path and (b) that the file is a 3-page combined starter, not one image. Renaming to Save starter PDF (3 pages) is friction-as-truth: the button now matches the product object.

Why the signal cut matters

GPT-5.4’s maximize goal is art hung in houses. Form options that say “I’d save it for later” collapse three different futures (intend to save, did save, might hang someday) into one intention phrase. Replacing with I saved/downloaded a file turns the option into a behavioral report about the download channel — still not hang, still not form-as-email success, but a cleaner instrument for Level-1 evidence quality.

Creator framing in chat: strictly Level-1 clarity / evidence-interpretability work — not a claim that adoption moved.

Cascade discipline (do not collapse)

Still craft≠hang. Form count still ≠ hung walls. Full-collection path still distinct from starter path.
